The 2019 model year brings the new Harley-Davidson FXDR 114 onto the road
With its uncompromising performance, the new FXDR 114 sets the pace for the new Harley-Davidson models as well as for new accessories and fashion products. Authentic style, impressive features and advanced technologies characterize all new products.
A few weeks after announcing its intention to offer products in new market segments in future and to further develop its high-capacity Touring and Cruiser models, the Motor Company is now presenting a range of new products for the Model year 2019 before.
Heather Malenshek, Harley-Davidson Vice President of Marketing: „All new products that we will be offering in 2019 are characterized by innovations - in design, technology and performance. They will inspire Harley-Davidson fans and new customers alike to enjoy the feeling of freedom on a Harley-Davidson.“
THE NEW FXDR 114
With the new FXDR 114 Harley-Davidson adds to its Softail model range with an uncompromising power cruiser, in which the powerful Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine is a synthesis with numerous weight-saving components made of light metal and composite material.
These components include a new light alloy swingarm, a light alloy rear frame, lightweight wheels and composite mudguards. They contribute to particularly agile handling and impressive riding performance.
Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-Twin
The FXDR 114 is equipped with the most powerful engine currently available in the Softail chassis: the Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-Twin, which develops a maximum torque of 160 Nm at 3,500 rpm.
The torsionally rigid Softail frame and perfectly matched suspension components reward a committed riding style on winding back roads as well as in dense city traffic with inspiring handling. The FXDR 114 also offers more lean angle clearance than any other Softail model.
The new power cruiser reveals its character in design features that do not deny its drag strip heritage - from the handlebar fairing to the short rear end and the solo seat.
The 240 mm wide rear tire is covered by a fender mounted close above it, which moves with the rear wheel and is barely noticeable once the FXDR 114 is in motion.
