The Harley Days Dresden - Review
THE HEAT WAS ON
On the last weekend in July, Saxony's state capital wore orange and black at the Harley Days Dresden
FRANKFURT (30.07.2024) - Germany's easternmost metropolis has a lot to offer its guests. Thousands of visitors to the Harley Days Dresden, which took place in the Saxon state capital from July 26 to 28, were able to see this for themselves.

The large open-air area called Rinne in the heart of Dresden once again proved to be the perfect location for the Harley Tent City. Along the Milwaukee Circle bike and biker promenade, shopping was the order of the day at the numerous authorized dealers and independent traders, while a number of caterers fought off the guests' hunger and thirst.
In addition to the traditional Dresden armwrestling, the entertainment program naturally included plenty of music. Country and rock amazon Jill Fisher and her band, Swiss rock newcomer Seraina Telli, the rock and metal cover band Audio Gun and the Suffy Sand Rocats with fifties-style rock ’n’ roll, rockabilly and boogie made sure of that. Their gripping and danceable sounds brought the atmosphere in front of the Main Stage to boiling point.
At the custom bike show powered by Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde, 45 bikes competed for the top spot in nine categories. New and exclusive this year was a section reserved for Softail models with Evolution engines. These stylish young and oldtimers, which will celebrate their 40th anniversary in 2024, even had their own exhibition on the grounds.

And of course there was motorcycling. For example, with the new Harley models, which could not only be inspected at the Expo, but also tried out extensively on the roads in and around Dresden. These included the Pan America 1250 models - the H-D Adventure Touring Bikes were on site with their own roadshow. Off-road racer Ralf Wiesenfeller gave top tips on handling the sporty machines, while stunt pro Chris Lietsch presented action-packed Harley-Davidson highlights.
The guests experienced the most beautiful bends in the surrounding area of the spectacular metropolis on the trips to Saxon Switzerland, Upper Lusatia and Bohemia led by local H.O.G. members of the Dresden Chapter Germany. A traditional highlight of the event was the parade on Sunday, with which around 850 bikers bid farewell to the state capital - not forever, but only for one year, as there will of course be another mega party in Dresden in 2025 from July 25 to 27.
