And because the Elbe metropolis with its picturesque old town skyline will finally be the backdrop for a stylish Harley-Davidson event again in 2019, there's even more reason to visit.
The Harley Days Dresden will take place from July 26 to 28, 2019 and promise to transform the state capital of Saxony into an Eldorado for V-twin fans. The event location is the centrally located gutter at the exhibition grounds, which is easy to reach both by motorcycle and by streetcar.
Blubbering engines, a cracking party atmosphere and plenty of Harley spirit - all this will characterize the event in Dresden.
Harley-Davidson test rides
The action-packed program around Main Street has it all: if you want to get in the saddle of a Harley yourself, you will of course have the opportunity to do so: The 2019 models are available for free, no-obligation test rides. Helmets and jackets are available from the Harley truck if required, just don't forget your driver's license.
Anyone who is still looking for the perfect motorcycle outfit or wants to give their bike the finishing touch with the latest parts and accessories will find what they are looking for on the large dealer mile. Here, more than 40 stands offer everything to do with the Harley-Davidson lifestyle. US bike fans can quench their hunger and thirst at numerous catering stands, members of the Harley Owners Group can look forward to an H.O.G. area and five bands will provide the official rock ’n’ roll vibes on the open-air stage. The Adventure Park is the place to romp, climb and burn off energy, where young visitors will find everything their hearts desire, from a trampoline and a mechanical bull to a climbing castle.
On Sunday morning, the bikers will pay tribute to Dresden with a big, shiny chrome parade. This will be immediately followed by the exciting raffle of a Harley-Davidson Iron 883 on the stage at around 1 p.m. Everyone who buys a ticket for 5 euros on the grounds has the chance to win the brand new machine worth around 11,000 euros. The proceeds will go to the Mutperle project of Sonnenstrahl e.V. Dresden, a support group for children and young people with cancer and their families. In addition to the numerous hotels and guesthouses in the city, the campground directly adjacent to the event site is also recommended for accommodation.
