The Harley Dome Cologne takes place on May 20 and 21, 2017

- Motorcycle, party and music fans meet for the fourth time in Cologne

(Neu-Isenburg, 29.03.2017) Over 2,000 years ago, the Romans decided that this exact spot on the Rhine was ideal for spending time. They founded a settlement, which soon became a „colonia“ (colony) and much later a "colony". „Cologne“ has been. And it is still a great place to spend time. Not only the 1.06 million Cologne residents know this, but also the six million visitors from all over the world every year. These include thousands of motorcycle fans, who have been making an annual pilgrimage to the metropolis since 2014 to enjoy the Harley Dome Cologne to experience. Since last year, the Major event diagonally opposite the old town and cathedral on the Poller Wiesen.

This year, it all starts on May 19 with an evening meet and greet at Harry's New York Bar at Pipinstraße 1. One day later, Alfred-Schütte-Allee mutates into „Main Street“ and all around it, the big event area is a hive of activity. The Harley-Davidson authorized dealer from Cologne and Bonn and a number of independent traders ensure that no wish remains unfulfilled when it comes to motorcycles, clothing and accessories. The Dark Custom Bikes at the stand of the same name and, of course, the many machines of the visitors - including an armada of fine custom bikes, which compete against each other in the battle for honor and trophies in a public and an expert jury evaluation. Cologne/Bonn Airport will be presenting a very special „custom project“. Some of the follow-me cars will be replaced by Harley bikes in the „Follow me“ design, which will be presented at the Harley Dome Cologne. Everyone who wants to experience what it feels like to get on the saddle themselves will be able to find out. test drive on one of the 30 demo ride machines. Meanwhile, the Electric Fun Park presents a contrasting program to the combustion engine with solo wheels, balance boards and Segways, while fans of stylish locomotion on four wheels can look forward to the presentations by Jaguar and Land Rover.

Hunger and thirst are quenched in the once again enlarged Streetfood Market with a number of culinary highlights, and the cozy „Sun and Fun“ chill-out areas and the beer gardens. New is the Harley Dome Cologne Radio Show: On both days of the event, two presenters on the Radio Show Stage will provide a program with scene highlights, interviews and live musical gigs. One of the event highlights will of course be the big parade, which will roll through the city on Saturday and promote greater understanding and cooperation in road traffic.

Admission to the Harley Dome Cologne is free. Who with the motorcycle want to drive onto the site can purchase the Urban Street Pass, which is valid on both days of the event, for 10 euros.
