JULY 2021
July began with the first travel report of the year
After this long lockdown phase, it felt really good to finally be out with other bikers again, or even with other people and friends. Letting the warm wind blow around your nose on the Harley was balm for the soul. Andalusia is really beautiful, best of course with a Harley in your luggage.

The Harleysite marketplace goes online
After the new Harleysite app was published, the new Harleysite marketplace was launched in cooperation with 1000PS at the beginning of July. A great idea, only used Harley-Davidson motorcycles from private sellers and authorized Harley-Davidson dealers should be offered here. The focus here is on the Originals seal from Harley-Davidson; these are vehicles that have been tested according to a 99-point plan and are offered with an extended warranty. In times when more and less people have no idea about technology, vehicles with the Originals seal are a good investment.

LiveWire introduces the LiveWire One in the USA
The LiveWire One is a modified LiveWire, with a little more range and at a cheaper price, it will only be offered on the American market in 2021.
The Sportster S will be presented in July
On July 13th, Harley-Davidson presented the new Sportster S with the 1250 T Revolution Max engine. The new Revolution Max 1250T V2 engine with 122 hp gives the Sportster S a particularly powerful acceleration from low revs. It shouldn't have as easy a time in 2021 as the Pan America , because apart from test drives, not much happened until late in the fall. It will only be seen more frequently on the country's roads in 2022. Delivery bottlenecks in the supplier industry and low transport capacities dominated the year 2021.
On July 17th the Fat Boy 114 went to Denmark
Just go on tour with the Harley-Davidson Fat Boy 2021 and live Danish hygge. The short trip to Denmark serves as a little inspiration to simply spend a long weekend with the Harley-Davidson.
On July 23rd we're off to Harley Days Dresden
Many people didn't understand that, in Dresden it was possible to celebrate on the event area with up to 5000 participants and the Hamburg Harley Days were canceled. This was due to the fact that the authorities in Dresden were much more cooperative and always looked for the best solution for everyone involved in close consultation with the organizer.
It had to be safe, but no one should be excluded, so it was possible to come onto the site according to the 3G rule. The event took place on a very large venue and it went really well, that was the highlight of 2021.
ZZ Top bassist Dusty Hill has died
It was a sad moment in July, on July 29th it was announced that rocker and musician Dusty Hill had died at the age of 72.
AUGUST 2021
The class AM moped driving license is now available nationwide for those aged 15 and over
It is important to the motorcycle industry that today's young people still have a desire to ride motorcycles, which is why the information is very interesting: they can now get a class AM moped driving license nationwide from the age of 15.
Harley-Davidson presents the Street Glide Special in the limited Arctic Blast paint version
With the Arctic Blast, Harley-Davidson is presenting a Street Glide limited to 500 units worldwide on August 9, 2021. A very elaborately handcrafted paint, especially the honeycomb pattern on the Bat Wing fairing looks extremely beautiful in the light.
The final decision for European Bike Week came on August 13th
Now it was clear that the European Bike Week would take place in a scaled-down version. The sad picture of 2020 should not be repeated. But they didn't want to bring themselves to the full program.
On August 16th, Harley-Davidson will start the Sportster S VIP Days
The Sportster S models were still in short supply, the first models are now showing up for test drives at HD dealers with the Via-Days.
SEPTEMBER 2021
The beginning of September shows that Harley-Davidson is on a path to savings and change
Harley-Davidson has separated from its long-standing press and PR agency Sassenbach GmbH. As part of the cost savings, this service was re-tendered.
Chapter tours are very popular at European Bike Week
In September 2021, the motto at European Bike Week is to ride more than party. And the best way to do that is to have local chapters show you the area.
After Bike Week, is before Bike Week
European Bike Week 2021 was better than nothing. Harley-Davidson presented its current models and placed the main focus on test drives. Everything was fine so far, although there was no comparison to the normal Bike Week, but we all knew that beforehand.
The dispute over punitive tariffs is coming to a head
Time is running out. The Harley-Davidson dealer association is once again appealing to the community to take part in the petition against the punitive tariffs.
Müller Motorcycles moves into new company building
The company Müller Motorcycles celebrated the opening ceremony for the new company building on September 18th. The family company is particularly known for its clutch relief for Harley-Davidson models.
The Pan America starts at the end of September.
At the end of the season it's all about the shooters of the year again, the Pan America should prove itself in my everyday life.
Supplier problems are now paralyzing Harley-Davidson Softail 2021 production!
That was the moment when a bad mood arose, especially among the Harley-Davidson dealers. They had to tell some customers that their order would be canceled or that delivery would be significantly delayed. This was really tough news, the supply chains are interrupted and this will not improve noticeably until the new year.
OCTOBER 2021

That was something completely different, the tour with the Pan America via Autozug in Allgäu. And the offer is often accepted by motorcyclists.

Harley-Davidson Saarland is here!
Two well-known faces in the Harley scene – Pascal Vergnaud, owner of Harley-Davidson Rhein-Neckar, and Matthias Meier, owner of the Harley Factory Group – joined forces to create Harley-Davidson Saarland. Of course, where the heart of Germany's smallest country beats: in Saarbrücken. The Grand Opening will take place on November 20, 2021.
Harley-Davidson already confirmed the date for the HOG Rally 2022 in October
The next HOG Rally will take place in Portorož, beautiful Slovenia, from June 9th to 12th, 2022.
An agreement on punitive tariffs is expected on October 31st.

Mallorca Bike Week 2021
In November the Mallorca Bike Week was announced, not a typical event, you can take part here through SKS trips. At the end of the season, recharge your soul a little, great tours and good entertainment are on the program. Unfortunately, the 2021 motorcycle season didn't really go perfectly; in Mallorca you could just forget about it all.
Harley-Davidson is now implementing the “One Brand Strategy” in Switzerland for the first time
This news came in November and caused quite a stir. Harley-Heaven from Switzerland has lost its dealer contract.
The first Sportster S conversions appear
Ricks Motorcycles presents its Sportster S conversion, and more and more deliveries of the Sportster S reach Harley-Davidson dealers in November.
In November, SKS Bikeshuttle brings the first bikes to the Top Cross Mountain Museum
The museum at Timmelsjoch has been newly stocked with 200 unique motorcycles. They were taken up the mountain passage in the big trucks.
“HOW TO” ADVENTURE TOURING: WITH THE PAN AMERICA THROUGH THE PYRENEES

Cancellation of the Custombike Show Bad Salzuflen
The cancellation of the Custombike Show was very sad news at the end of the year. However, the organizers did not want to act according to the 2G rule because they did not want to exclude visitors and according to the 3G model, it was not permitted.
Mallorca Bike Week 2021 season conclusion
The 15 black trucks set off from the tranquil Westerwald town of Mogendorf in thick fog, arrived on Mallorca in pouring rain and left the island again in beautiful sunshine. In between there was a fantastic week that made every biker's heart beat faster.

Rick's Motorcycles celebrates 10,000 Days
On Friday, August 1, 1994, the business license for the current company was applied for at the Rastatt district office and on December 17, 2021, Rick's will be exactly 10,000 days old.
For the first time, Harley-Davidson is the main sponsor of the largest metal festival in the world
2022 will be “Faster, Harder, Louder” for Harley-Davidson: Next year, the Holy Ground in Wacken will be even faster, harder and louder than already, because the world-famous motorcycle brand will be a partner of the largest heavy metal festival in the world.

That was pretty much the last report in 2021, Harley-Davidson announced the date for presenting the new models on January 26, 2022.
