My name is Volker Wolf and I have been the operator of this website for over 20 years and, thanks to the growing number of followers on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, I am one of the most successful influencers in the Harley-Davidson sector in German-speaking countries. The Harleysite offers regular news and information about Harley-Davidson and is very popular among Harley fans and enthusiasts and has an active community, especially in the area of social media.
Especially due to the growing number of followers on Facebook, the active and dedicated fan community that is interested in Harley-Davidson motorcycles and the culture associated with them is growing. For many years I have been traveling to international Harley-Davidson events and reporting on Harley-Davidson events and my tours as a travel blogger.
I test trips for Harley riders, or organize tours myself as a guide to special places or events. I am passionate about photography and so you can find many photos of my experiences on the site.
And because I often photograph Harley bikers at the events, you may even find yourselves among the photos or in the video. And if the bikers only want the photo with the Harleysite logo for their social media, that's also a statement.

The European Bike Week on Lake Faak is the highlight among the events in Europe, where more than 70,000 Harleys quickly gather.
Who likes to write about themselves? I'm a freelance journalist and photographer/videographer, and I'm interested in everything to do with Harley-Davidson and motorcycling.
These are today's terms for someone who is active on social media. At over 50, I'm actually too old for that, but if you have an ever-growing community, you hear these terms more often. And it's fun, but it's really hard work that requires a technical background and a feel for marketing.
Everything is tested, from Harley-Davidson to cars, trailers and biker clothing.
There was even a special Panono 360° camera on the trip, although it was still a prototype. I have been passionate about driving for over 35 years motorcycle, so first and foremost I am Motorcyclist and have realized over the years that the brand Harley-Davidson can offer the most.
The scene is international and great friendships have developed over the years. That's the unique thing about Harley meetings around the world.
Since 2004 I have worked on several Harley events as in Plön until 2008 and the Harley Weekend Lübeck co-organized from 2008 to 2011.
Over the years, many great contacts have been established in this scene. Joint tours with Peter Maffay, for whom I was allowed to organize the casting for his music video together with a friend, was such a highlight.
We were looking for 100 cool bikers, or actually only 99, as I was there too. We needed a whole day for the shoot, it was a great and unforgettable experience for all of us.

The jump to American television on Discovery Channel with a few small appearances on Orange County Choppers was a very special highlight. The American Chopper program is broadcast in over 160 countries worldwide.
I have been very good friends with Paul Teutul Sr, Joan, Mikey and many others from the crew for several years. Paul called me that he needed a good customizer from Germany, of course I could help him!

More InformationThe next adventure was the recording of the music video with the band FreiWild and OCC in New York. There was a spontaneous concert in the New York City subway.
A great biker song was planned, and the result was a whole album. The brand name is Brothers4Brothers and the album was even in the TOP 5 in Germany, sometimes there was a struggle with Dire Straits for 1st place. you can find the album on Amazon.
We spent almost a week together in the USA for the shoot. The highlight was FreiWild's live concert at OCC's headquarters, for which FreiWild fans even flew in directly from New York.

Thomas Schurian from Austria produces exclusive knives by hand.
He is a big OCC fan and has built a very special one for Paul. The whole thing was filmed by his TV team, who accompanied him during his work.
I organized the delivery for him in Newburgh so that he could hand over the knife to Paul Teutul Sr. just before Christmas.
Thomas Schurian's clientele includes Arnold Schwarzenegger and Putin.
I have the good fortune to have been friends with Ernesto Guevara for several years. He is the son of the revolutionary legend Che Guevara and has over 12 Harleys in Cuba with which he offers guided tours.
I support him in this and went to Cuba in February 2019 to take part in a tour.
I was given a very special honor when I was allowed to sign the condolence book of his father Che in the Monumento Memorial in Santa Clara just a few pages behind Fidel Castro.
From 5 to 6 people I will accompany you if you want to experience Cuba on a Harley-Davidson.
Cuba is a dream for biking, it challenges you, but it's fun. Especially together with Ernesto and his crew.
The country totally surprised me, I had a completely different impression of the island. I'm glad to have seen Cuba again now. Even though the houses may look run-down from the outside, there's still a sparkle inside.

In my blog I report on great tours that I was able to experience on the Harley-Davidson. I've also worked for Tchibo and other companies as Travel tester have been traveling the world to put the tours on offer for the provider through their paces to see whether everything is really well coordinated and perfect for bikers.

Unfortunately, the current circumstances make it impossible to travel to the beautiful city of St. Petersburg again in the long term. We have always received a very hospitable welcome, we never thought that the situation could escalate like this again. If we rode everything Harley-Davidson, we wouldn't have these problems.

The technology is not neglected either, especially the Harley-Davidson innovations are a popular topic, long and detailed test rides where the Harley has to show what it's made of. With the new Harley-Davidson Road Glide Ultra, we even take it to the North Cape, where the most adverse weather conditions prevail, the ideal place to prove its touring capabilities.
In 2017, I rode 30,000 kilometers through Europe with the new Milwaukee-Eight 107cui engine. From the North Cape to Andorra, Spain and Russia, I rode the bike through 14 European countries. The Road Glide Ultra has always been a reliable companion.
I have currently ridden around 10,000 kilometers on the Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic 114cui model year 2019. In June, I took the Heritage Classic 114 to Portugal for the Harley event in Cascais.
