2021 HARLEY DAVIDSON BIKES FIRE PASSION FOR ADVENTURE AND FREEDOM
Highlights include the significantly upgraded Street Bob 114 and Harley-Davidson Audio powered by Rockford Fosgate
In 2021, Harley-Davidson offers motorcycle fans even more performance, style and technology. In addition to the puristic Street Bob 114 and the Fat Boy 114 in the new design, the highlights of the new model year include trendy new styling options for three popular touring models: the Street Glide Special, the Road Glide Special and the Road King Special. Four CVO models with premium equipment developed by the Custom Vehicle Operations team are also available.
“Harley-Davidson is focusing on motorcycling as an emotional experience in 2021,” said Theo Keetell, vice president of marketing. “The pursuit of adventure and freedom forms our heritage and at the same time the vision for our future. As we enter a new year and a new riding season, it’s more important than ever to fuel that desire.”
New in the Softail series: the Street Bob 114
The Harley-Davidson Softail models combine performance and modern technology with authentic American design and offer a genuine driving experience.
For 2021, Harley-Davidson has given the Street Bob a major upgrade, making it the Street Bob 114. It's still a no-frills chopper, but thanks to the powerful Milwaukee Eight 114 engine, the machine now has even more Power in its handy chassis. From the mini apehanger to the short tail, it's a thoroughly authentic Harley.
The Fat Boy 114 has been one of the most impressive appearances in the Harley-Davidson portfolio for decades. For 2021, Harley-Davidson has updated and brightened their look by replacing the matte chrome parts on the powertrain, exhaust, front end, instrument console and rear fender with shiny elements.
Hot rod excavators as highlights of the touring series
Three charismatic hot rod baggers equipped with new features are the focus of the 2021 touring family. Thanks to their powerful exterior and the strong Milwaukee-Eight 114, the Road King Special, the Road Glide Special and the Street Glide Special offer confident handling and at the same time score points with the long-distance properties of the comfortable Harley-Davidson touring chassis.
The Street Glide Special and the Road Glide Special are not only available in new, attractive two-tone paint finishes, the customer now also has the choice between a black finish and a version with numerous classic chrome-plated features. The Road King Special and Street Glide Special are also equipped with a new Daymaker LED headlight. All three models have new, flat crash bars that further emphasize their crouched appearance.
Harley-Davidson Touring models equipped with the Boom! color touchscreen infotainment system. Box GTS are now compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. If the driver connects his compatible smartphone to one of the two apps, he can access media, streaming services and navigation or communicate with others.
CVO models with the latest generation audio system
Harley-Davidson Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) models are the epitome of Harley-Davidson style and design, with head-turning paint finishes, advanced engineering, exclusive components and an obsessive attention to detail . In 2021, the portfolio includes four CVO types: CVO Street Glide, CVO Road Glide and CVO Limited as well as the trike CVO Tri Glide.
The CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide models are now equipped for the first time with “Harley-Davidson Audio powered by Rockford Fosgate”, a particularly powerful and advanced audio system. Speakers and amplifiers were developed specifically for Harley-Davidson motorcycles . Harley-Davidson Audio powered by Rockford Fosgate components will also be available in the Harley-Davidson Genuine Accessories program for 2014 and later HD Touring motorcycles equipped with a Boom! Box infotainment unit.
All four 2021 CVO models have new paintwork and elegant design features. They also remain the only bikes in the Harley-Davidson portfolio to be offered with the Milwaukee Eight 117 V-Twin, the most powerful factory-available Harley-Davidson engine.
All CVO models are still equipped with the RDRS Safety Enhancements (originally known as RDRS). This is a technology package of electronic assistance systems that support the driver in unexpected traffic situations and adverse road conditions.
The assistance systems include the cornering-optimized electronic brake force distribution (C-ELB), the cornering anti-lock braking system (C-ABS), the cornering traction control (C-TCS), the traction control system (DSCS), the vehicle hold assistant (VHC) and the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

A CVO Road Glide with short panniers??? What were they thinking at Harley? No purchase criteria.
And that's why HD made us torture us for half a year longer? A Street Bob114, a little more chrome for the Fat Boy and a new radio for the Tourer? I would have expected a successor to the Sportster, or a chopper ala Wide Glide. The company shouldn't be surprised if sales figures fall. In any case, I see no reason to plunder the account!
Super great offers. I would like to think about a new model if I could exchange my two bikes.
I have flstc Heritage softail classic 1995 and V Rod built in 2002. Greetings Peter Meier Schützenweg 2 in 66787 Wadgassen ru
