Okay, philosophers sometimes express themselves in a somewhat complicated manner, but one thing should be clear: things say something about people!
An individually designed motorcycle expresses the mentality of its owner and represents his individuality. For this reason, almost no Harley-Davidson in its original condition; almost every one is adapted to the personal ideas of its owner and converted into a unique piece.
For this purpose, the US company publishes a thick tome every year in which the original accessories are listed: the Parts and Accessories catalog.
The 2019 edition is now available in authorized specialist retailers - 880 pages long and weighing 1.5 kilos.
So that everyone can find the right parts straight away, the reference work is clearly structured according to series, with large-format photos at the beginning of each section making the reader's mouth water.
Further chapters deal with topics such as travel, engine tuning, infotainment, lighting, wheels, custom paint, care and maintenance and much more. No matter whether you want to optimize ergonomics, increase comfort or sharpen the style - there is the right hardware for every customizing idea, which also ensures that the Harley remains a Harley even after the conversion.
Owners of older models will find what they are looking for, as will owners of brand new models like the FXDR 114. For this youngest horse in the Milwaukee stable, the Motor Company is already offering, among other things, a titanium rear silencer with an end cap and carbon heat shield, which benefits power development, weight and sound .
New are the Kahuna and Dominion collections, which, in addition to engine housing covers, also include footrests, running boards, gearshift and brake pedals. In the Kahuna Collection, these parts were coated in glossy black or chrome-plated and adorned with a subtle red Bar and Shield logo.
In the Dominion Collection, they are either gloss black anodized or bronze powder coated and are also decorated with metal accents in identical or contrasting surface coatings. The numerous possible combinations make the Dominion Collection incredibly diverse.
