LIVEWIRE PRESENTS THE NEW, SPORTY S2 ALPINISTA 

The next LiveWire Alpinista electric motorcycle based on the S2 platform is now available at North American and European dealerships

FRANKFURT (15.01.2025) - LiveWire, a market leader in electric motorcycles, is proud to announce its latest product: the S2 Alpinista, now available at authorized dealers in North America and Europe. It is a dynamic bike with sporty 17“ wheels that combines road, sport and touring characteristics.

The recommended retail price for the S2 Alpinista is 18,832 euros in Germany and 17,990 CHF in Switzerland.

Driving pleasure and equipment 
When developing the powerful S2 Alpinista, performance, functionality and customization options were high on the list of requirements. As a reinterpretation of the S2, it forms a successful and dynamic synthesis of the urban agility of a supermoto and the versatility of a touring bike. 

The features of the new model include 17“ wheels, which have a positive effect on the riding characteristics and at the same time reduce the seat height by 28 mm compared to the S2 Del Mar. The machine rolls on Dunlop Roadsmart IV tires and offers impressive lean angles of 52.1° on the left and 44.2° on the right. With its high level of comfort and nimble handling, it is suitable for everyday commuting as well as for fast rides on winding country roads.

The S2 Alpinista is equipped with a 6-axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) from Bosch, which enables cornering ABS and corner-optimized traction control. Four preset and two user-defined riding modes precisely adapt factors such as the bike's performance and response to the rider's preferences, giving them a particularly accessible or exciting riding experience, regardless of whether they are a rookie or a pro.

Performance and charging
The LiveWire S2 Alpinista is based on the S2 platform and has the same high-tech performance features as the S2 Del Mar. With a weight of 197 kg, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds. It has an output of 63 kW (86 hp) and develops an immediate torque of 263 Nm.

Equipped with a 10.5 kWh battery pack, the S2 Alpinista offers a range of up to 193 km in the city and 114 km on US highways. As with the S2 Del Mar, the S2 Alpinista gives the rider the choice between a level 1 or level 2 charge.

 Level 1: 20 to 80 percent in approx. 5.9 hours
 Level 2: 20 to 80 percent in approx. 78 minutes

accessories
A wide range of original accessories for the S2 Alpinista will be launched in the first and second quarters of 2025, including a sports seat, a windshield, soft bags and cases, luggage racks and features for the look. These products further enhance the riding experience and sharpen the individual style of the machine.

World premiere and availability
The new, sporty S2 Alpinista is now available on the North American and European continents. Customers can purchase them from LiveWire dealers or configure their preferred color and accessories online and send the order directly to their nearest dealer.
