Perpetrator may have known the camera angles
According to current information, it is the only Harley-Davidson that, according to the Hamburg police , was stolen this weekend. This also really surprised the owner from Nuremberg, as to why his lovingly converted machine was stolen when there are 25,000 others driving around in the city area.
The paint set is unique!
A 2002 Harley-Davidson was stolen. The machine was repeatedly rebuilt over the years and was most recently given the unique paint set from the USA in 2016. The frame is from the Fat Boy and fender, saddle, side bags from the Harley-Davidson Softail Heritage Deluxe.
The distinctive paint set was specially made in the USA and brought to Germany. Ape handlebars, fishtail exhaust system etc.
The crime scene
The Harley-Davidson was stolen on Sunday afternoon near the St. Pauli Landungsbrücken.
The thief rolled off the property's premises on the machine.
What is striking is that the thief was not filmed when he came into the property's courtyard. The Harley was secured with the steering wheel lock, which he must have picked. Using an APE handlebar as a lever wasn't exactly easy if no other tools were used.
It is assumed that the machine was loaded directly onto a trailer or transporter on Seewartenstrasse. The road is near the jetties.
If anyone happens to have taken photos or filmed footage near the crime scene, please send them to the police.
TIME OF THE ACT: June 30, 2019 at 5:08 p.m. in the area of Seewartenstrasse Hamburg
