At a press event at the Flutrinne Dresden, it was announced today that the Harley Days® Dresden will take place next weekend, from July 23-25, can take place.

The organizers and fans are delighted. The Harley Days® Hamburg unfortunately had to be canceled this year. This makes the 2021 festival in Dresden the only officially Harley Davidson®-supported event in the whole of Germany. „We would like to cordially invite all Harley® fans to the beautiful city of Dresden next weekend and look forward to welcoming many guests from all over Germany,“ says Daniela Hesse, co-organizer of the three-day event.

In 2021, Harley Days® Dresden will once again offer a high-quality program. There is a lot to see and experience. Among other things, you can look forward to the „Harley® on Tour“ - Truck. Here you have the opportunity to take a test ride on the Harley® of your choice - an opportunity that doesn't come along every day. Under the motto „Try a Bike“ you can Guided „Demo Rides“ through Dresden's city center experience. This year's highlight is also the Harley-Davidson® Pan America™ Road Show.

Here the new Adventure bike from Harley® and can even be tried out directly on site. Harley-Davidson® Germany and the local official Harley® Dealer will be presenting all of the brand's new models in exhibition tents on the festival grounds. In the Shopping Area There are numerous dealers offering motorcycles, spare parts, clothing and accessories - in other words, everything a biker's heart desires. There is also a large selection of delicious food and drinks.

As in 2019, there will once again be a large open-air Traffic circle give. Everyone can present and try out their bike on the so-called „Milwaukee Circle“.

Also the Program has it all: the event officially opens on Friday at 7 pm. The manufacturer Harley-Davidson® will not miss the opportunity to present a very special highlight, as the latest model, the Sportster™ S, will be shown. This is the first live presentation of this machine in Europe. Kolja Rebstock, Harley-Davidson® Vice President EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), is expected to attend the opening and presentation.

On Saturday morning, visitors can take part in two guided tours to Saxon Switzerland and Lusatia. The Dresden Chapter Germany invites guests to its 25th anniversary and shows them the most beautiful regions of Saxony. In the afternoon, the Bike Show a competition in which the best bikes are recognized in various categories. For example, the rider with the longest journey will be awarded a unique trophy.

Three bands will provide the best entertainment at the weekend. It starts on Friday with a Live Concert of the Radio Bob! Band. On Saturday afternoon the Rock'n'Roll Band plays The Ants. The evening will be opened at 8 pm by the Böhse Onkelz tribute band Glorious scoundrels heralded.

The big biker parade, which runs through Dresden's city center and will once again attract thousands of fans and onlookers, starts on Sunday at 12 noon in the Ostragehege.

For families with children, the Harley Days® Dresden once again offer some great program items.

This year's Harley Days® will once again take place in the „Rinne“ in the Ostragehege. The tickets can only be purchased online via the website. Day tickets are available from 10 euros, tickets for the whole weekend from 15 euros. Children up to the age of 14 have free admission. A public test center will be set up on the grounds where visitors can be tested free of charge. Proof that you have been vaccinated, tested or have recovered must be provided when entering the event site.

The organizers are delighted that they are able to hold the event. The cancellation of the event last summer put them to the test. They are therefore hoping for support from the City of Dresden's fund for major events.

When can I arrive?

On Thursday the access to the camping area is open from 18:00 to 21:00 and on Friday from 10:00, the event starts on Friday at 14:00. On Sunday the area should be cleared by 20:00, in exceptional cases Monday morning is possible.

Are there shower and washing facilities

Yes, there are washing facilities for the campers.

Do I need a ticket for the exit on Sunday?

In theory, you can join the convoy outside the grounds. However, it would be better if you supported the event with your contribution and also listened to the rules and further information directly on the grounds before the parade.

Are there parking spaces for cars?

There is a visitor parking lot at the site. Alternatively, there are many parking areas around the event.

Do I need to register for the parade on Sunday?

No, no registration is required. All information is available on the site.

Are there event T-shirts?

Yes, there is a merchandise stand and event T-shirts for him and her on the event site.

Are there any chapter exits?

Yes, there are chapter rides again, you can register for the respective tour at the chapter on the premises.

When does the parade start?

The parade starts at 12:00 noon at the event area, the route will be announced later in the week due to some construction sites in the city.

Is there breakfast?

Yes, breakfast is offered on the event site.

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are allowed, but must be kept on a lead (leash compulsory). It is not recommended to bring dogs onto the site, the immediate background noise of music, people and engines is not particularly suitable for dogs.

I am vaccinated, what is required?

If you have been vaccinated, simply bring your vaccination card or digital vaccination certificate. Simply show it at the entrance.

I have recovered, what is needed?

Bring proof of recovery with you and show it at the entrance; it must not be older than 6 months.

Do I need a corona test?

Yes, you need a C-negative test, it must not be older than 24 hours. There is a test center directly at the entrance, where there are about 30 helpers who carry out the test on site.

Do children need a test?

Children only need a test from the age of 6.

How is testing done?

There is the nasal cavity test, where a swab is taken from the front of the nose, alternatively the mouth and throat swab is possible.

What happens if I leave the event area

If you get tested on site, the test is valid for 24 hours and you can return to the site during this time without any problems. This applies to vaccinated people anyway. It is best to be tested daily.

Does the test at the event area cost money?

The C-negative test at the event area is free of charge.

Is it compulsory to wear a mask?

No, masks are not compulsory on the premises. Anyone who wants to can of course wear one.

Are tickets available at the entrance?

Yes, you can get a ticket directly at the entrance, but it's not as quick as if you order it online in advance. Admission is much quicker with the online ticket, so we would definitely recommend the online ticket.

Is admission free for children?

Children up to the age of 14 do not pay admission.

Is there a repair service?

Yes, there is a Harley-Davidson repair service on the premises.

Is there a bike show?

Yes, there will be a bike show, due to the short lead time, four classes will be judged and there will be trophies for the winners. Participants must be at the stage from 14:00 on Saturday to take part.

Are there Harley-Davidson test rides

Yes, the Pan America and the other new 2021 H-D models can be test-driven. Bring long clothing, helmet, gloves and driver's license. The test drives will take place on all three days. There will be guided tours.

Is the event open to all motorcycle brands?

Yes, every motorcyclist and his motorcycle is welcome on the event grounds.

Can I ride a trike in the parade?

Yes, you can ride a trike in the parade, but all vehicles with more than two wheels must ride at the end of the parade.

Is there electricity for campers?

No, there is no power connection in the camper area.

Are drone flights permitted?

No, drone flights are not permitted in the area of the event site.
