More InformationStreet Glide Limited vs. Road Glide Limited
The Community is divided, and that is precisely what makes the discussion so exciting. Both Touring models have evolved significantly compared to their predecessors. The Street Glide Limited has shed around 10 kg and impresses with noticeably lighter handling. Those who ride a lot in bad weather will benefit from the improved weather protection behind the fairing. Staying dry has never been so comfortable on a Street Glide.
The Road Glide Limited counters with the unmistakable ride feel of its massive cockpit. Anyone who has ever experienced how this excavator accelerates out of a bend while the massive front end literally devours the road will understand the fascination. The development of sales figures is interesting, as the Road Glide has caught up significantly in Europe and was even sold better than the Street Glide last year.
VVT delivers consistent performance
In practical tests, the Milwaukee-Eight with variable valve timing (VVT) delivers a wider rev range with consistent power output. The power is available immediately and the usual drop in performance at higher engine speeds is eliminated. The response feels noticeably more direct. However, if you are already riding a 117 engine, you do not necessarily have to change. The tried and tested drive still has sufficient power reserves.
Pan America Limited as an insider tip
The Pan America Limited turns out to be a real surprise. Less expensive than the CVO version, it offers a complete package with the Revolution Max engine and ARH chassis that is second to none. The engine revs freely up to 9,200 rpm and develops a real power boost from 6,000 rpm. The semi-active suspension is impressive across the board. In Sport mode, the forks and suspension are firm and the motorcycle handles like a much lighter machine when cornering.
The Limited equipment includes luggage, fog lights, cornering lights and daytime running lights. If you have the choice between Special and Limited, you should go for the Limited, because it's better to have than to need when the next big tour comes up.
New LED lighting sets the tone
One detail that stands out on both Touring models is the revised LED lighting. The new fog lights blend discreetly into the design and set impressive accents, particularly at dusk. The new light pattern is particularly impressive in the group. The LED light strips at the rear replace the previous individual lights and ensure a more modern appearance.
Snow Show Willingen on March 13 and 14
The Biker Talk also brought news about the Snow Show Willingen 2026. On March 13 and 14, the hill-climbing event will take place at Wilddieb, where over 80 participants will conquer the slope on their converted motorcycles. The event now has an international character. Participants from Switzerland, Austria and all over Germany have registered. Harley Innsbruck and well-known custom manufacturers such as Thunderbike are also taking part. Even live performances are expected, and spectators are very welcome.
Motorcycle show Oldenburg with new models
Despite its manageable size, the motorcycle show in Oldenburg in Oldenburg offered a compact program with all the major manufacturers. With an entrance fee of 10 to 12 euros, this was a fair offer. The stand with the new Liberty models was particularly interesting, including the Heritage with the striking eagle design in the paintwork. The raised surface of the eagle's wing literally invites you to touch it, as every visitor can confirm.
Conclusion
The 2026 Limited models from Harley-Davidson set new standards in terms of handling, technology and equipment. Whether Street Glide or Road Glide remains a matter of taste, but both have evolved significantly. The Pan America Limited deserves more attention as a touring alternative with a sporty character.
