Das Alpe-Adria-Chapter aus Carinthia, bietet zur European Bike Week 2021 drei geführte, schöne und mit Safeties ausgestatte Touren an. Wer gerne dabei sein möchte, muss sich auf der Chapter-Website www.alpeadriachapter.com register under EBW tours.
For those who have not yet taken part in such tours, the following information is available: The offer is free and open to everyone, i.e. you don't have to be a chapter member. The organizers are purely interested in the joy of riding and meeting other bikers.
Of course, the Alpe-Adria-Chapter is happy when they receive a tip in their club coffers for their efforts in leading the tour. After all, it is a lot of work to plan these tours, to ride them in advance and to offer them as an accompanied tour. You should also be familiar with staggered group riding and know what tasks the road captain, the safeties and the tail man have. If not, ask the road captain to give you a few tips in advance.

Der Treffpunkt ist zu allen drei Touren um 09:30 Uhr am Arneitz-Gelände, an der Seeufer Landstraße in Faak am See. Um 10:00 Uhr starten die Touren jeweils. Mit organisiert ist ein gemeinsames Mittagessen und auch ein Tankstopp, damit den Sporties unterwegs nicht der Saft ausgeht.
The tours of the Alpe-Adria-Chapter for the European Bike Week
On Wednesday, 08.09.2021 we start with a 230 kilometer long tour. It takes about 7 hours with breaks.
TOUR 1 - Bearded Man Tour BOOKED OUT
Die erste Tour startet am Mittwoch, den 08.09.2021 vom Arneitzgelände aus, um 10:00 Uhr. Um 9:30 Uhr solltet ihr gerne eingetroffen sein. Natürlich ist deine Harley bereits vollgetankt, so wie es sich vor der Tour gehört. Die aufregende Strecke führt in den italienischen Grenzort Tarvis und von dort mitten durch die Natur in den slowenischen Part der Tour. Die traumhafte Naturkulisse ist sehenswert, der Ausblick oft schwindelerregend. Aber keine Sorge: Die gesamte Strecke ist auch von ungeübteren Fahrern einfach zu bewältigen, die Geschwindigkeit wird ebenfalls laufend angepasst. Damit niemand zurückbleibt, sorgen die erfahrenen Safeties mit den orangen Warnjacken und das Taillight der Tour.
TOUR 2 - Visiting Friends 2021 BOOKED OUT
The second tour starts on Thursday, 09.09.2021 from the Arneitzgelände, also at 10:00 am. This tour will also include a stop for lunch. Tour 2 takes about 7 hours and is 230 kilometers long. This tour is a new edition of the legendary „Visiting Friends“ tour series, which has already been causing a stir for several years. The Alpe-Adria-Chapter-Director chooses very special, sometimes unknown roads that even experienced Carinthian bikers are not familiar with. He also always has a knack for choosing the right place for lunch. Fun and great memories are guaranteed.
TOUR 3 - Carinthian Outback Tour 2021 BOOKED OUT
The third tour starts on Friday, 10.09.2021 from the Arneitz site, also at 10:00 a.m. at the known location. Tour 3 is planned for 5 hours and is about 190 kilometers long. Initially, this tour should have been the „Hallelujah Tour“ - it passes the famous pilgrimage site and the cathedral in Gurk. Due to the beautiful surroundings, it then became the „Outback Tour“. Participants can expect a mixture of long, wide country roads and small, winding climbs and valleys. Nothing that Harley-affine bikers would not be able to manage.
