Budapest Open Road Days 2024 Motorcycle festival in Budapest
The Budapest Open Road Days 2024, a comprehensive motorcycle, family, and music festival, will be held from June 27 to 29 in Budapest at Műegyetem-Kai, between Petőfi Bridge and Szabadság Bridge. This event offers a panoramic view of Budapest and attracts motorcycle enthusiasts with a variety of motorcycles. Organized by the Open Road Riders Community in partnership with leading motorcycle brands such as Harley-Davidson, With Honda, BMW Motorrad, Yamaha, Suzuki, and the Piaggio Group in attendance, the festival promises an exciting program.
The festival spans 13 venues and 4 music stages, including performances by Tankcsapda, one of Hungary's most popular rock bands, celebrating their 35th anniversary, and the supergroup Godfater featuring Hungarian guitar legend Tibor Tátrai. Other musical highlights include the rockabilly band Mystery Gang and a blues concert by Little G Weevil and K.C. Brown.
The Budapest Open Road Days 2024 also offer a spectacular biker program, including two joint motorcycle rides: one at Lake Balaton at the start of the festival and a large Budapest motorcycle parade at the end. In the „All-Motor Tent,“ visitors will find a motor show featuring all the major brands and can find out about the latest innovations. There will also be motorcycle and BMX stunt shows, a Harley-Davidson history exhibition, free test rides, and a custom bike show.
The festival grounds on the banks of the Danube, the Plázs, offer a relaxed view of the Danube and Budapest, accompanied by a DJ, with deck chairs and hammocks. At night, visitors can enjoy the panorama and atmosphere with cocktails and lantern light.
