In 2012, the Austrian capital provided the magnificent backdrop for the fourth Vienna Harley Days.

As usual, admission was free and, as usual, not only Harley riders were invited, but all motorcycle fans and friends of cool music and a good atmosphere.

The location, on the other hand, was new: this year, the Festival set up its tents on Vienna's Danube Island for the first time.

Here, upstream of the Reichsbrücke bridge, a huge party was organized for four days after Harley-Davidson The event was celebrated in style by around 40,000 enthusiastic visitors.

Even St. Peter was gracious and refrained from raining.

Vienna_Harley_Days_2012_13On an area of around 20,000 m², fans were offered everything their hearts could desire in the specially erected „Harley Village“ festival tent city: the complete Harley-Davidson model range to marvel at and free of charge. test drive, lots of accessories and clothing and of course a comprehensive culinary offer, which was complemented by the nearby restaurants of the party mile „Sunken City“.

The adrenaline-charged supporting program scored with breathtaking bike stunts by Rainer Schwarz, and numerous live bands provided a great atmosphere with blues, country and rock on the large open-air stage.
On the second day of the event, the Capital Ride was an impressive highlight.

More than 1,000 Harley riders from all over the world traveled to Vienna under the motto „ride along instead of just ride there“. On Saturday, May 11th, they conquered the capital in an impressive convoy and got the festival off to a brilliant start.

Another highlight was provided by the traditional Harley-Davidson Parade around the magnificent Ringstrasse, which took place on Sunday, May 13. Around 3,500 Motorcyclist rolled through the center of Vienna on their shiny bikes and caused a sensation and amazement among thousands of onlookers.
