Super Rally June 4th to 8th, 2025 in Bydgoszcz / Poland
Last week, organizers of the FH-DCE Super Rally® 2025 received bad news from city authorities in Katowice, Poland. Due to planned construction projects at the originally intended venue where the 2025 annual Super Rally meeting was to take place, they were forced to quickly find an alternative.
New venue: Bydgoszcz steps in
Fortunately, a solution was found: the President of the City of Bydgoszcz has already confirmed in writing the reservation and access to an alternative venue. This is the area in Myślęcinek, where the rally took place in 2018. Thanks to the support of the mayor, the FH-DCE Super Rally® 2025 will now be held in Bydgoszcz from June 4th to 8th, 2025.
Further information about the event will follow shortly. The anticipation for the event is growing and it is expected that numerous bikers from all over Europe will come together in Myślęcinek to celebrate the legendary Old School Rally.
The Super Rally event entry in the Harleysite calendar, with further information about the event, will follow in approximately 4 weeks as soon as all information is available.

Spectacular drone show at Lake Faaker See as another highlight of the 26th European Bike Week
It is a popular fixture at the end of summer in the Villach – Faaker See – Ossiacher See region: the European Bike Week with its more than 100,000 visitors from all over the world. This year, the organizers are planning another program highlight from September 3rd to 8th in addition to the popular parade, the village and live music around the lake.
Around 200 drones will light up the sky above Lake Faak on Friday, September 6th and Saturday, September 7th from around 9:30 p.m. An absolute premiere that promises a total work of art made of light, music, moderation and emotion.
The show itself is planned in great detail weeks before the event, says Stefan Hölzl-Strohmayr from the company Droneline: “We have around eight weeks of lead time to put together a show of this dimension, including planning, programming, organization and implementation on site to provide. For example, just for battery management – around 500 batteries have to be charged and discharged at the same time – two employees are needed.”
The drones start from the lakeshore and then, after an approach of around 150 meters, take position directly above the lake. “A drone show can hardly be compared to fireworks. In contrast, it is multidimensional, meaning we combine the lighting effects with music and moderation - and since our drones, which can even fly in light rain, score with 100 watt LEDs, we have a huge range of colors, patterns and contrasts. It will be a fireworks display of color that Lake Faaker See has never seen before.”
This highlight is made possible by the good cooperation between Harley-Davidson, Kärnten Werbe and Region Villach Tourismus GmbH and their tourism associations.

The date for the European HOG Rally 2025 is June 12th - 15th, 2025. Harley-Davidson will announce more information about the location on September 3rd at the European Bike Week!
Harley-Davidson announced this information this Sunday.
There is currently a lot of speculation as to where the venue is. Harley-Davidson will have important reasons for this decision not to name the venue yet. What is crucial is that a European HOG Rally 2025 will take place somewhere, in a very beautiful place.
Last Sunday the annual Harley-Davidson Meeting Ruhrpott took place in the LWL Industrial Museum in Hattingen. The official Harley-Davidson event is a huge attraction for Harley-Davidson bikers and those who might want to become one.
from left Rudi Herzig (HD Press), Roland Hoeltke (HD) Klaus Fröhlich (VA), Tom Pfeiffer HD Pfeiffer, Christopher Tiemann (Sassenbach),
At 10:00 a.m. the horn sounds and the large iron gate of the industrial museum opens for the bikers. Normally, when the weather is nice, there are thousands of bikes standing in front of the gate waiting to be admitted. This year things were a little different: in the early hours of the morning there was heavy rain throughout the area and the roads were wet. That doesn't particularly harmonize with sparkling clean Harley-Davidson machines. A few hundred were already there at 10 a.m., but it wasn't like usual.
I had appealed on social media that I didn't have nearly enough photos of the Harleys. I imagine now that they heard it, because about an hour later it all started. Suddenly they all came and it didn't take long until the parking spaces were filled with really nice bikes.
What's special are the spaces between the old locomotives and iron parts - you can take great pictures here. Everyone who stood there was certainly able to take a really nice photo of their bike and take it home with them.
There were again a lot of good exhibitors on site who presented their offerings at the day's event. The Ruhrpott meeting is supported by Harley-Davidson Pfeiffer, MotoMaxx and Thunderbike. You can also buy tickets in advance from the HD dealers, which is very practical. Because not everything always has to be digital. This means you can drive directly onto the site without having to exchange your ticket for a wristband.
In the end everyone was happy and satisfied again, a sunny day, not too warm and not too cold, we got to see a lot of bikes and met a lot of like-minded people.
See you next year!

I am currently receiving a lot of questions about the new date of the European HOG Rally 2025. Normally the next date is always announced directly after the event. This year, Harley-Davidson has instead announced the date of the renewed Eurofestival from May 8th to 11th, 2025 in Saint Tropez. This has caused confusion because the date of the European HOG Rally 2025 has not been announced to date.
Unfortunately, I don't know what the problem is, but basically, based on what I've heard so far, there will be another HOG Rally next year. I have already received messages from bikers who fear austerity measures and thought that it could no longer take place.
The European HOG Rally in Senigallia 2024
This is what I was able to find out at the moment : My previous unconfirmed information suggests that the European HOG Rally 2025 will take place in Croatia There are indications on the internet that Zagreb will be the venue, but so far I have found out that it will not be in Zagreb. I'm assuming it will be somewhere near the Adriatic Sea, which rules out Zagreb.
As we could see in Senigallia, there was a lot of action in the very beautiful Italian town of Harley-Davidson, the HOG Rally has a very important status for the company! The HOG Rally is characterized by the fact that it always takes place in very beautiful locations near the sea.
I'm assuming a coastal town in the northern part of Croatia and assume it will be in the last week of May, but it's pretty much out of the question that the event won't take place at all. Let's wait until official information comes from Harley-Davidson.
On the last weekend in July, Saxony's state capital wore orange and black at the Harley Days Dresden
FRANKFURT (July 30, 2024) – Germany’s easternmost metropolis has a lot to offer its guests. Thousands of visitors to the Harley Days Dresden, which took place in the Saxon state capital from July 26th to 28th, were able to see this for themselves.
Harley Days Dresden 2024
The large open-air area called Rinne in the heart of Dresden once again proved to be the perfect location for the Harley tent city. Along the biker and biker promenade Milwaukee Circle, shopping was the order of the day at the numerous authorized dealers and independent traders, while a number of caterers combated the hunger and thirst of the guests.
In addition to the traditional Dresden arm wrestling, the entertainment program naturally included a lot of music. This was ensured by the country and rock Amazon Jill Fisher with her band, the Swiss rock newcomer Seraina Telli, the rock and metal cover band Audio Gun and the Suffy Sand Rocats with rock 'n' roll, rockabilly and boogie in the fifties style. Their gripping and danceable sounds brought the atmosphere in front of the main stage to a boil.
At the custom bike show powered by Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde competed against 45 bikes in the battle for the top spot in nine categories. New and exclusively represented this year was a division reserved for Softail models with Evolution engines. There was even a separate exhibition on the site dedicated to these chic young and vintage cars, which will celebrate their 40th anniversary in 2024.
Harley Days Dresden 2024
And of course there was motorcycling. For example with the new Harley models, which were not only inspected at the expo, but were also able to be tried out extensively on the streets in and around Dresden. These included the Pan America 1250 models - the HD Adventure Touring Bikes were there with their own roadshow. Off-road racer Ralf Wiesenfeller gave top tips on how to handle the sporty machines, while stunt professional Chris Lietsch presented action-packed Harley-Davidson highlights.
The guests experienced the most beautiful curves in the surrounding area of the spectacular metropolis on the trips to Saxon Switzerland, Upper Lusatia and Bohemia, guided by HOG members of the Dresden Chapter Germany who knew the area. A traditional highlight of the event was the parade on Sunday, with which around 850 bikers said goodbye to the state capital - not forever, but only for a year, because in 2025 there will of course be another mega party in Dresden from July 25th to 27th. Further information can be found online at harley-days-dresden.de.

Before we get to the actual event, we might have to break the whole thing down to the beginning of the new Bike Days Willingen. What actually happened?! The former organizers quickly canceled their event for economic reasons because they could no longer inspire enough exhibitors, etc., for the event.
The cancellation was a shocking moment for many!
The cancellation was a shock for many Willingen fans, you have to understand the background to it. The Harley community is a cross-section of society, many work hard and want to enjoy their valuable free time with friends in the community at Harley-Davidson events.
Everything is planned, the dog is placed with grandma, the hotel is booked, the tour is planned and whatever else you want to do during the event is organized. There is always someone who works out nice tours to explore the area and the region's sights.
Exhibitors were hanging in the air!
The exhibitors plan the events they want to go to during the year just as long-term and who had chosen Willingen was suddenly up in the air. Many people can no longer afford that these days; they need good events to make ends meet. It wasn't the case that none of them wanted to come to Willingen anymore.
In any case, many bikers and everyone who had planned something with the event in Willingen suddenly found themselves faced with a canceled event. There was a lot going on at the Harley site. Everyone wanted to know what had happened and why the sudden end happened. It was not the fault of the community, which was emphasized again in a statement. Maybe we'll make a point here now, behind the old story, because it went on.
It continued, new name and new organizers!
Now Beanie and Flo came into play. After initial discussions with responsible Harley-Davidson dealers in the region, they immediately founded an event company to pick up the scepter that had been thrown on the ground. They are both bikers, well-known in Willingen and they have a very large circle of friends and many biker friends who all wanted to get involved.
That's how it happened, I don't know if everyone can imagine what kind of tasks lie behind such an event, because it became something more than just a beer truck and a small stage on the site.
Mütze and Flo – The organizers of the Bike Days Willingen
Everyone pitched in!
With active support from the Harley world, friends, the community and, last but not least, the people of Willingen, the new Bike Days Willingen suddenly took shape. When hotel bookings increased again after the hundreds of cancellations and the encouragement came from the Harley scene with encouraging comments from bikers who promised to definitely be there, you felt more than just the spirit of the community.
A lot of new friendships have been made here, I can say that! Sometimes things are supposed to work out that way in order to create something even better.
Those responsible at Harley-Davidson looked at the new event on site in Willingen in order to be able to assess it for the future. In addition to the Harley-Davidson dealers HD Pfeiffer and HD MotoMaxx, there was also support for the exhibitor area from event colleague Klaus Fröhlich, who organizes the Harley-Davidson Meeting Ruhrpott in Hattingen. Fröhlich will be hosting his own Harley-Davidson meeting on August 4, 2024 in the impressive location of the LWL Museum Henrichshütte.
The future of the event is already at stake, as Harley-Davidson is taking a very close look at who can and cannot hold a Harley-Davidson branded event, especially given what happened before.
Everyone could breathe a sigh of relief on Sunday!
Initial comments say that it was better than in previous years. There are still a few visitors missing to build on the glory days, but that was due to the uncertain weather and because people weren't sure whether the new organizers would be able to pull it off straight away. But they managed it, even Hessenschau TV (from minute 14:35) was there and reported.
The Hooters started on Thursday. An internal exhibitor party was also held to recognize traders for their presence. They presented a great music program on stage, and everything was free, which should be emphasized again.
These were the new Bike Days Willingen 2024 195
The entire city was in the hands of Harley bikers last weekend. The event welcomes all bikers, but 95% of them were the big V2 engines from Milwaukee. There were very cool bikes on display, from old Panheads with rigid frames to the new CVO ST Road Glide 2024, which is really very rare to find in the country.
Florian Goebel estimates that the Bike Days were able to attract over 20,000 visitors this year, which is truly a great success. Even on Sunday it continued until the afternoon, when the last band stopped playing, the event was over. There are a few things that could be improved, but in principle it was a great event that was put together in a very short space of time.
