Amersfoort is a town just outside Amsterdam in the Netherlands and is home to the Harley-Davidson dealer Motor Saloon BV . His contribution to the KING OF KINGS BATTLE is the SPORT ROD based on the SPORTSTER FORTY-EIGHT .
THE THICK TIRES ARE THE PERSONAL FEATURE OF THE SPORTY-EIGHT
The striking thing about the Forty-Eight are the noticeably thick tires. From the factory they are equipped with T16x3 130/90 B16 73H and 150/80 B16 77H Scorcher tires from Michelin. Marco van Velzen is the dealer boss at Motor Saloon BV and his team started exactly there to make the Sport Rod look even sportier. A wider 180 AVON COBRA CHROME AV92 tire was now installed, as well as offset and wider fenders, but the genes of the Sporty-Eight should still be clearly visible.

The Sport Rod is not the winning bike, but this Sportster conversion is definitely one of the successful and non-abstract custom builds that can be used as a template for your own bike. The design is eye-catching and can be recreated without complex and expensive custom-made products.
The cockpit is typically tidy as standard, the handles and mirrors are from Harley-Davidson accessories. In the cockpit view you can clearly see how the Vivid Black and Silver Denim paint has a silky, beautiful shimmer. The paintwork is really harmonious, the lampshade and the fairing visually form a beautiful unit, and the short rear fender allows the line to flow out nicely over the wide tire at the back. The hand-made saddle appears quite flat, but of high quality. That looks pretty perfect.
Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather Air Filter
The Heavy Breather air filter from Screamin Eagle ensures plenty of air flow. It ventilates the engine of the 48 Sportster and further raises the sporting level through its design. The light unit belongs to the Daymaker series from Harley-Davidson, and you only see the mini-LED indicators at second glance.
The exhaust with chrome end caps completes the Screamin Eagle design picture towards the end. The Sport Rod may not look spectacular, but you can still see that it has Battle of the Kings
