Unfortunately, the 29th European HOG Rally in Portorož cannot take place

NEW ISENBURG (05/03/2021) - Harley-Davidson and the Harley Owners Group are disappointed to announce the cancellation of the 29th annual European HOG Rally, which will take place from June 10th to 13th, 2021 in Portorož, Slovenia should rise.

Planning has been underway for a long time for the event , which had to be canceled in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Intensive discussions were held with the local authorities, hotels and other providers in Portorož and nearby Piran in order to be able to offer fans and friends of the brand an event with the best possible hygiene concept in 2021.

For Harley-Davidson, the health of customers, employees, dealers and the regional population is the top priority, and because the development of the pandemic and the associated travel and quarantine conditions simply cannot be predicted, the decision has now been made with a heavy heart to cancel the event .

The European HOG Rally traditionally fascinates Harley-Davidson riders and fans from all over Europe and the rest of the world. In the past, guests from up to 62 countries were welcomed to the festival grounds.

Harley-Davidson and the Harley Owners Group are proud to create such unique events for customers. They will therefore continue to plan regional and international motorcycle events - of course taking into account the respective guidelines of the responsible health authorities and authorities, so that visitors, exhibitors and residents are protected as best as possible. Such events embody the spirit of freedom and adventure and underscore Harley-Davidson's commitment to the largest customer community supported by a motorcycle manufacturer in the world.
