The finale of the International German Championship in Custom Bike Building will be spectacular, with around 300 participants competing with their unique bikes for titles and trophies in 18 categories. “The Art of Racing”, which will take place in its own exhibition hall, will also cause a stir. Epoch-making racing machines and radical custom bikes that breathe the spirit of racing competition allow visitors to immerse themselves in the world of people and riders such as Burt Munro, Ernst Henne and Scott Parker.
The supporting program guarantees the best entertainment: Henny Kroeze and his team will race along the steep face with breakneck maneuvers. The European Biker Build-Off is one of the highlights of the CUSTOMBIKE SHOW. Since 2007, two teams have been competing against each other, each with a show bike. The Biker Build-Off system is well known: The two teams have three days to complete a custom bike live in front of the trade fair visitors. The winner in this exciting duel will be awarded on Sunday afternoon. This year you can look forward to the mechanic skills of Christoph Repp (Harley-Davidson Würzburg Village) and Enrico de Haas (Wannabe-Choppers motorcycle manufacturer).
Christoph Repp has been a Harley dealer since 2007 and has been deeply rooted in the scene for over 35 years. His own creations, for which he does not commit to any style, have already won him and his team numerous awards. His opponent, Enrico de Haas, founded the Wannabe-Choppers label at the age of 15 with the aim of building motorcycles. He has been doing this for almost 14 years now and during this time the 28-year-old has set several customizing milestones with his team.
It will not only be exciting for the motorcycle builders, but also for the visitors. Exclusive prizes with a total value of over 35,000 euros will be raffled off on the three days of the trade fair. The prizes include a Triumph Bonneville Bobber and a Harley-Davidson Sportster Iron 883.
