WITH CHARITY T-SHIRT: HARLEY-DAVIDSON EUROPE SUPPORTS HUMANITARIAN AID IN UKRAINE

Donation proceeds come from T-shirt sales; collaboration with the Open Mind Foundation

NEU-ISENBURG, April 29, 2022 - Harley-Davidson Charity T-Shirt - Under the motto „H-D for Ukraine“, motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson® is presenting a special edition T-shirt in collaboration with the Open Mind Foundation. The proceeds from the limited edition will benefit humanitarian aid projects in the Ukraine. The shirt can be ordered via HDforUkraine.com interested parties can donate directly to the aid organization on OpenMind.fund.

„Like so many people, our employees wanted to help and therefore launched the ‚H-D for Ukraine‘ program,“ says Kolja Rebstock, Harley-Davidson Regional Vice President EMEA. „The T-shirt was designed by employees and features the colors of the Ukrainian flag over the iconic Harley-Davidson logo on the chest. The lettering ‚UNITED WE RIDE‘ on the back of the shirt symbolizes the spirit of Harley-Davidson - to help when needed.“

For every T-shirt sold, 50 percent goes to^* of the purchase price to the Open Mind Foundation, a charity based in Kiev, Ukraine, which provides emergency aid in the form of transportation, shelter, food and medicine as well as essential childcare items to support people in need.

In the spirit of the Harley-Davidson® motto ‚United We Ride‘, the H-D® community, including the Harley-Davidson dealer network, has shown continuous efforts to help people in need. For example, numerous dealers and their employees from Germany have tirelessly carried out various relief campaigns. Further measures that have been initiated in Europe are as follows:

- The H-D® dealer in Prague, Czech Republic, organized the transport and accommodation of over 5,000 war refugees and brought them safely across the border to Ubľa in the Czech Republic. The team also organized a work permit for a group of women and helped secure places for their children in local schools.

- The H.O.G. ® team in Vilnius, Lithuania, has so far donated more than 10,000 euros to the official fund set up on behalf of the Ukrainian government to support people and communities affected by the war.

- H.O.G.® Warsaw, Poland, has organized several relief trips with the authorities and delivers goods directly to the H.O.G.® West Chapter of Ukraine.

- The Ukrainian H.O.G.® Kiev, Odessa, Western and Central Chapters continue to help where they can by sharing information and communicating widely to channel help from other communities outside Ukraine.

- The H-D® dealer in Sopron, Hungary, has provided over 30 wheelchairs for hospitals.

- The H.O.G.® Chapters Prešov and Bratislava, Slovakia, as well as the H.O.G.® Chapter Budapest, Hungary, have donated important goods and clothing.
