Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide 2023
CVO premiere at the 120th H-D Anniversary Festival in Budapest!
There will be the latest information on the new CVO models, and demo rides with the current model range will also be offered in Budapest. At the start of the event, it will be possible to reserve your desired Harley-Davidson online. At the beginning of next week, you can also register online for the guided tours!
Pan America Special! Together with driving instructor Ralle, test the Pan America on a 20-kilometer off-road course and pick up valuable tips from a pro. The tour is free of charge, and a Pan America Adventure Bike is available for you to test.
Harley-Davidson is flying the new 2023 CVO Street and CVO Road Glide models to Budapest. It's not certain whether they will lead the parade, but according to the plans, they will be presented separately at the festival grounds and for the first time in Europe! At least that's the plan, if everything goes according to plan.
This information will certainly trigger some CVO fans, but it is currently unknown when the next opportunity to see them live might arise. Below is an overview of the hotels still available for the 120th H-D Anniversary in Budapest.
The new CVO models are in high demand!
Although sales are generally somewhat sluggish at the moment due to the Habeck effect, orders are coming in so well at Harley-Davidson dealers that the Road Glide CVO models for this season are already sold out. So buying sight unseen is probably the only option if you want to take the new CVO for a spin this summer.
Some CVO Street Glide models are still available.
There are only a few CVO Street Glide models left for this season, but whether a dealer can still get one depends on their respective quota.
It's crazy how quickly things can happen, even though the bikes aren't in stores yet and Harley-Davidson isn't just offering the top-of-the-line versions, but also ones that come with a hefty price tag of over €45,495 in Germany, even though many had expected an even higher starting price. Even the €7,140 surcharge for the Whiskey Neat/Raven Metallic special paint finish on the CVO Road Glide didn't deter anyone. Anyone who still wants one now will have to wait until next season at the earliest to ride it; only a few CVO Street Glides are still available for this year.
Trips will be bookable online
I receive many questions about the trips, some of which I have been able to clarify.
My tip would be, if you are a larger group, to do the tours independently.
Harley-Davidson will offer ten different tours in the Budapest area. The requirements for riders vary, with the longest day tour covering approximately 351 kilometers, so you should already have some riding experience. The shortest tour covers approximately 170 kilometers in the beautiful countryside surrounding Budapest.
The tours are led by experienced guides, some of whom are German-speaking Harley-Davidson employees. Next week, there will be an online link where you can register as a participant for the tours.
Pan America Adventure Tours
There are two selected routes for Pan America Adventure Tours. These special trips are led by Harley-Davidson riding instructor Ralle (Herbert Wiese) from Germany. Ralle is a consummate professional and has selected two routes, one for beginners and one for advanced riders, which are offered several times and can also be booked online.
Harley-Davidson has brought its own Pan America fleet with it, so if you'd like to ride a Pan America around the grounds, you're welcome to do so.
