European Bike Week Faak am See 2017

European Bike Week Falk am See 2017 is back on track.

First photos from Wednesday. The weather has been holding up pretty well so far, but it got really wet again late in the evening. It's hard to say, but the event area at Harley Village was well filled, while there was plenty of space on the road around the lake. They could do with a few more beautiful Harleys. However, there were already lots of particularly beautiful Harleys to be seen on the road around the lake.

The guided tours 

A special tip for those who would like to explore the area in a group. The Alpe Adria Chapter offers guided tours. There is a pagoda in the Customizer Area in Harley Village where you can register. 

Die ganz große Tour ist die „Three Countries II Tour, Österreich, Italien, Slovenia), ca. 250 Kilometer in 9,5 Stunden ein Eldorado für Motorradfahrer erleben.

For example, on Friday there is Tour 4, which is called: „Peters Coffee, (Carinthia, Villach-Turrach) Length: 145 km Start at 1:00 p.m., return approx. 5:00 p.m. This four-hour tour is one of the shorter ones; there are also some that last over 9 hours. It's best to find out more directly at the stand.

Flat track races

To mark the milestone anniversary, the Harley-Davidson now brings this most popular track sport in the USA to Carinthia for the first time.

This fascinating spectacle takes place opposite the demo ride area on Seeufer Landstraße. In addition to registered journalists and Harley-Davidson dealers, brave bikers can also hop on a bike at certain times under the expert guidance of the Flat Track School (fee applies).

Am Donnerstag von 10:00 bis 14:00 Uhr ist die Flat Track School und ab 15:00 Uhr ist das Händler-Qualifying.

Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: Flat Track School, and the dealer race starts at 1:00 p.m. 

Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Flat Track School.

Test rides

The Riedes demo will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Harley-Davidson has brought together over 100 Harleys from Europe to give you the opportunity to test drive the latest models. The test drives are free of charge and without obligation. You must present your driver's license, and jackets, helmets, etc. can be borrowed if required.

Be sure to register in advance, as the tours are very popular! You will find the demo rides at the corner of Seeufer Landstraße and Bahnhofstraße.

Custom bike show on Friday 

The bike show is on Friday, and registration starts at 12:00 noon in the Custom Bike Area at Harley Village. Judging begins at 4:00 p.m., and the awards ceremony is at 6:00 p.m.

At European Bike Week, the finest and most valuable conversions traditionally compete for the favor of an experienced expert jury. In a separate category, original or perfectly restored classic Harley models compete for honor and trophies.

If you would like to participate, please register at the counter in the Customizer Area on Friday from 12:00 noon onwards. 

The parade on Saturday

Line-up from 10:00 a.m., departure at 12:00 p.m.

One of the highlights of the event is the traditional parade, during which we will cover around 80 kilometers on our Harleys through the beautiful Carinthian landscape, characterized by alpine peaks and tranquil lakes. Anyone can join in; the parade is not brand-specific.

The route to the starting point will be signposted.
