European Bike Week Falk am See 2017 is starting again.

First photos from Wednesday, the weather has been pretty good so far, only late in the evening it got really wet again. It's hard to say, the event area at Harley Village was well filled, but there was plenty of air on the street around the lake. They could still use a few nice Harleys. Many particularly beautiful Harleys could already be seen on the road around the lake.

The guided tours

A special tip for those who would like to discover the area in a group. The Alpe Adria Chapter offers guided trips. There is a pagoda in the Customizer Area in Harley Village where you can register.

The really big tour is the “Three Countries II Tour, Austria, Italy, Slovenia ), about 250 kilometers in 9.5 hours, an El Dorado for motorcyclists.

Flat track races

To mark the milestone anniversary, Harley-Davidson is now bringing what is probably the most popular track sport in the USA to Carinthia for the first time.

The fascinating spectacle takes place opposite the Demo Ride Area on Seeufer Landstraße. In addition to the registered journalists and Harley-Davidson authorized dealers, brave bikers are also allowed to get into the saddle at certain times under the expert guidance of the Flat TrackSchool (charges apply).

The machines are converted Stree Rod models powered by the Revolution X engine, which forms the basis of the XG 750R's racing engine.

On Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. there is the Flat Track School and from 3:00 p.m. there is the dealer qualifying.

Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: Flat Track School and the dealer race takes place from 1:00 p.m.

Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. the Flat Track School.

Demo rides

The Riedes demo will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Harley-Davidson has brought together over 100 Harleys from Europe to provide you with the latest machines to test drive. The trips are free and non-binding, a driving license must be presented, jacket, helmet, etc. can be borrowed if necessary.

Be sure to register in advance, the tours are in high demand! You can find the demo rides on Seeufer Landstrasse and Bahnhofstrasse.

Custom bike show on Friday

The bike show is on Friday and registration starts at 12:00 p.m. in the Custombike Area at Harley Village. Judging starts at 4:00 p.m. and the awards ceremony starts at 6:00 p.m.

At the European Bike Week, the finest and most valuable conversions traditionally compete for the favor of an experienced jury of experts. In a separate category, original or perfectly restored classic Harley models compete for honor and trophies.

If you would like to take part, register at the counter in the customizer area on Friday from 12:00 p.m.

The parade on Saturday

Line up from 10:00 a.m., departure at 12:00 p.m

A highlight of the event is the traditional parade, in which we will cover around 80 kilometers on the Harley through the beautiful Carinthian landscape characterized by alpine peaks and quiet lakes. Anyone can take part, the parade does not depend on the brand.

The route to the starting point will be signposted.
